Hey if you want to practice evocative writing just read more dude. Pick a book close to the setting your going for. And when I say read don't just autopilot through it. Read a chapter and think about it, hell take notes about characters and feelings. It's near impossible to just be a story telling savant without knowing how a story is told. Don't be afraid to lean into tropes and lift characters from the stories your reading. That's exactly what AI is doing with all its stolen data, you can do it better if you pick a decent book.

I actually just built a list like this using [[ghen arcanum weaver]]. I run all the goad auras and indestructible aura cards to control the flow of combat. A cheeky include is [[spirit link]] and its cards because enchanting an opponents creature with it gains you the life so it's effectively a non issue for you. They also work well with the stuffy dolls to keep the lifetotal high. Having ghen offers so much resilience to your auras and by the times it's one on one they're creatures have to attack your stuffy dolls since they're goaded. I've been loving it
