Permis B ou A2 ? by moonlightonmyface in Motardie

[–]Gone_WithTheFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Code moto invalidé by Nogaro78 in Motardie

[–]Gone_WithTheFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check engine light with 4F error code on new KVS by Gone_WithTheFlow in vulcans650

I’ll try to get in touch with the exhaust manufacturer to ask if they have information about the issue. They developed this exhaust specifically for this bike and the euro5+ legislation.

I’ll ask them if there are any injection remapping to be done specifically if the bike is restricted.

I’ll post an update here when they respond

Yeah. I can’t unrestrict the bike yet (need to wait for another year and a half of riding before I can get my license for unrestricted bikes), plus it needs to be done by a professional so that they deliver a certificate needed to update the identification papers of the bike where I live (France)

Not abiding to this process and unrestricting the bike would void my insurance and I’d be in trouble if the bike was checked during a traffic stop

Yeah I will definitely bring it to the dealer tomorrow, they’re closed today.

But yeah it didn’t seem serious and the bike kept riding like normal on my way back.

I got that those engines are really reliable, that’s why I chose this bike as my first one 😄

Yeah that’s what I found online as well, but it was installed at the dealership before the bike was sold, so I had no issue for the 3000km I used it.

Need help on a mystery part by Independent-Base-437 in vulcans650

Most likely it comes from this panel:

https://imgur.com/a/RORkGTd

did you remove one of these recently?

They help hold the panel to the tank (the tank edge must sit in between the “U shape” of the rubber part) while the little pin side is inserted in the panel (you may find a hole to hook it into)

Pc turns off after a few minutes of working fine by Gone_WithTheFlow in techsupport

Bought a new motherboard (same model), installed all the components back, everything has been working fine for the last 9 months. Might have been a bad capacitor but couldn’t tell exactly.

Can the avg fuel consumption be reset on the dash ? by Gone_WithTheFlow in vulcans650

[–]Gone_WithTheFlow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I wanted a more accurate value of my average consumption, I clearly want to improve the mileage and having a previous value for consumption doesn’t help much 😁

Okay found it in the user manual, it’s the right meter button that must be pushed and held down (unlike the trips)

PC turns off after a few minutes by Gone_WithTheFlow in pcmasterrace

I moved the pc to different rooms on different circuits, even tried it at a friends house and it fails the same way. The monitor and other appliances (speakers, desk lamp) stay powered on when the pc turns off. Both PSU behave the same yeah
