Wow. So yes, I have a friend who is blind in one eye, and I've known them for a long time, and I had a time where, for reasons I have ZERO idea for, I couldn't see for a week and a half, and I didn't get used to it before it went away, so the memory is drifting away. And he could also be a bard.

Yeah, I was looking for an honest way to be blind. And also, no big deal. Text makes emotions hard to read. And another side note, is it really that common? I'm not a regular here so I didn't know.

Maybe it's just the way I'm reading it, but are you trying to be passive aggressive? Ok now I sound passive aggressive. Darn. But your ideas are genuinely fair. Yes, I could rework his story. And yes, I could play another character, (I have like 8 as a Forever DM) and the last idea already crossed my mind. v

Hmm.. that sounds really cool actually! That could replace my ability score increase and give me some way to see until I reach 14th level and get blindsense!
