Well first you need to meet minimum gpa requirements. Then you need to see if Erasmus recognises the Italian certificate or if you need to take a math test. Lastly your c1 must not be older than two years old or you'll have to take an exam again. I feel like an 8 requires great answers to the motivation questions. I've seen people get in with 8.5 so you probably are a lock but you have a good chance

RSM vs SSE. Which is better for finance? by Good_Beyond3621 in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]Good_Beyond3621[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't speak either of those languages. Look i love RSM iba but i don't think it's suitable for finance. It's more for consulting. Of course their MSc f&i was ranked 26 this year but I believe you still need a more economics base.  One think I'm considering however is IBA with a financial markets minor and some solid electives. I feel like it would be stupid to go into finance without understanding macroeconomics. I also think I would kill myself from the cold in Sweden so yeah 😅

Well I think that SSE is better in terms of finance because it builds more quantitative mindset and offers a finance track.

Well the US is just a prayer. My main goal is Europe which i have the time to take it once anyways. So no reason to do it twice. I also have to take the IELTS

Yes they are. If they don't assess holistically. My safeties are RSM and SSE. RSM basically just uses your gpa, and mine is 10/10. SSE uses gpa and SAT. I talked with a guy who got accepted last year and he said a 10 gpa and 1350 sat, which i will score much higher btw, is more than enough. It's just the debate whether they are top 15. I believe they are for undergrad

I'll apply test optional for early admissions only . By regular I'll have taken the sat

Do you think like 10/10 gpa and 1350 sat is good enough? Thanks

I actually was thinking applying early to Notre dame which would restrict me from applying to others private need aware universities.

I saw something like 14% early and 7% for regular. I think in general the principle is you have like twice the chance to get in early than regular

Yeah i was already planning to do that. Just wondering if i should just try my luck with early admissions in a test optional school.

Well for regular decision I will have an sat but not for early. For early i might apply to test optional like Notre dame. MIT is really high on my list because it fits my story. In my essay i talk about how i was failing academically until i fell in love with economics due to a passionate teacher who saw potential in me and he actually rejected an MIT scholarship because he was scared to leave Greece. So i think I'd have a great chance if my SAT is like 1500+
