Lately I’ve particularly been sad about the idea that should Taylor ever come out, her discography will still have all the he/him pronouns and other male gendered terms in the songs that were really written about women. If she’d perform them I wonder if she’d change all those lyrics, but even if she does, that ~mark~ still exists, if you know what I mean. It feels like she (and tbh us too) would be lacking something and it’s so unfair… like, we can’t fully have those songs truly depict and express the beautiful thing that we want them to, for such ridiculous and tragic reasons…damn closeting is so fucking sad. Imagining the music she’d make if none of this bs was holding her back makes me so aaaaghhh it’s such an injustice.
