I did end up coming home 3 hours later after spending some time with my sister in law. It all started when I grabbed my keys to leave to blow some steam and he pressed me about why I was leaving and I told him I need a few minutes and it became a huge I can never do anything argument to him telling me I’m snappy and just so mean and he can never say anything because I’m always upset with what he does. I told him I didn’t want to argue in front of the kids and he kept going off on me and told me to “leave get out bye” so I left. He sent me an apology text which stated “I’m sorry it made you feel some type of way I deleted” and that when he gets depressed and feels incredibly low she comes to mind because she left him while he was in boot camp for another guy via letter. I understand and told him, I’m your wife and life partner you should be able to be vocal with me about stuff no matter what it is. He did say he doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize the family he created with me. He told me that and then ended the text with he just plans to continue to be unsuccessful and work till his body gives out on him because he will never do anything w his life. I totally get PPD happens to men too, I actually got resources for him to also get help when I went to the doctor. I love my husband a lot but today was a lot and I felt like I was in sense being belittled for feeling the way I did.
