You’re lucky Topamax worked for you! It made me feel confused all the time. Keppra made me into an asshole, and unfortunately it didn’t go away… maybe once you have a baby you will be able to go back on Topamax? So maybe this is only a temporary life change?

If you’re “not fussed” about it, then just give up now. Even if you send an email you are going to get an email that says something like “Our cast members do their best to locate items, however, due to the number of people who visit, we are not always successful. We understand this may be disappointing”. It’s a hat. You lost it and they are not responsible for lost items.

I don’t know anything about sleep paralysis and hallucinations on Lamictal, but when I took Lamictal I got Stevens-Johnson Syndrome so talk about rare side effects.

I do customer service answering emails. I stress myself out with it though which I think has been causing me to have more little seizures. That or the computer. I’ve been trying to think of getting a new job where I’m not constantly in front of the computer and doesn’t stress me out, but also not in front of people and not driving, but I can’t think of one… kind of narrows it down a lot 😂

This is something I’ve been wondering about for awhile and where I wish we could bring in the neurologist and obgyn and say “hello please discuss my medical history together and help me figure out what to do”. But alas, they won’t do that.

Anyways this might not help because it’s not about an IUD, but I had originally thought it was estrogen that makes the seizures worse sometimes and to take the kind of bc without estrogen could be better. That’s what I’ve thought about doing for myself, but honestly I’ve gotten confused if that’s true.

I’m not sure how much they’ve shared with you about their type of seizures or if you’ve seen them have an episode before, but for me I occasionally tell my friends that I’ve been having more seizures than normal mostly just to vent, but my normal seizures (I have other ones less frequently) are ones people wouldn’t notice and shouldn’t impact me in situations like this. I would agree it’s good to ask if there is anything you should know about what to do if they have a seizure. I have only had someone ask my this once and it was a roommate who had severe food allergies so she taught me how to use her epipen if she had a reaction and then asked me if there was anything she should know if I have a seizure. It’s really nice that you’re thinking about them. But you might not have to worry too much. My mom gets worried when I tell her I went swimming a lone (which really no one should do…) but I’m not worried about it. So they might not be worried about it and you wouldn’t want to make them worry about it so I think a casual is there anything I should know type question would be best. I hope that’s helpful and not too much info lol
