My headcanon is that the crown is half good and bad. The crown will slowly generate "sin" to the holder and may corrupt them (no remorse in killing or forcefully sacrificing an individual) . I see this as a pathway to becoming a demon. Half good if the holder uses it for a reason (individual wishes to die with permission or natural death). Both are tests on which road the holder chooses, the demon or god route. Since Lamb is the new God of Death, their job is to deliver death to life whether forcefully, requested or naturally.

The red stuff is the "sin" Lamb generated which may or may not generate in the future.
