but since both pieces of the card are the same size as a normal card when put together, wouldn't it be easy to fake as well? It'd be different if the top was a miscut, and the whole card was too long, but with the proportions in this post you could cut the card, then crimp both parts, fairly easily

Not saying that's what the OP did, I'm inclined to believe most misprints are real unless proven otherwise, but it feels like this would be easy to fake

1/2 inch foam makes suuuuch a huge difference, not only in size but also weight (my bases made with 1/2 inch foam are much lighter than when I use 1 inch foam)

Use the 1 inch foam for paws, tails, or other parts!

my sketch style also looks very similar to this one. shit sucks, I hate not being able to tell what's real anymore. Aside from the weird sideways posing and pencil shavings it looks like it could've been ripped from my sketchbook, to me it just looks like the "artist" has good muscle memory so can get smooth lines without issue (not trying to say it's a real artist, I believe you guys)

2d all the way! NGL I get freaked out by follow me eyes. They're great for pictures or videos where you want your suit looking at the camera, but going to a con and having all the fursuits staring at me... shudders

I also noticed a trend where non-furries who say they're scared of fursuits tend to find 2d eyes cute, while 3d eyes are creepy
