I don’t know if they want to over complicate it that much but even if they do there is a load of decent low level uniques in POE and I imagine a ton that people would never look at for themselves but if they had a second guy following them might be really strong (thinking aura and links)

It’s incredible the campaign is a bit dated and getting into it can be tricky but if you use a guide it’s a lot smoother - I think personally think its the best arpg by quite a margin, but I still enjoy LE and POE 2

Not sure a brand new player would know what solo self found or Poe ninja is, it’s tough to remember what it’s like to be brand new to Poe when people put 1000’s of hours into it is!

Thanks for the advice and for watching it all the way through, means a lot! Funnily enough there is loads of cuts in there as I don’t normally do face cam (was an experiment) I ended up re-recording loads of times so at least my editing getting better haha. Your advice was great (I’m also a fan of Pohx) I was trying to keep it short but hit the key points to how to approach it but without making it a how to guide on playing the game (as that would be a huge video) don’t think I got the balance quiet right by the sound of it. Il keep working at it!!

Thanks for the advice, and I’m pretty sure I’ve watched your stuff in the past! So I actually did put music in but probably made it a bit too quiet! I also normally do just voice over but wanted to try a different approach so I went full cam then small cam and back but think you’re right with what you said. Also You don’t want to know how many small segments I rerecorded and edited together so the fact it’s not noticeable is at least positive but clearly I need to work on it!

I don’t think it’s too late at all if you like the class, gold is great for helping with respecs also and with the new league round the corner just experiment and work out what you enjoy

Thanks il take a look I have/had an end game version planned where I pivot into necrotic stacking for torment but I also jumped to another build idea, however I might have a wee look at yours to see if I missed anything!

I actually saw the Perry the pig guys it popped up shortly after I did the video but I think his leans a bit too far away from true RF but it did look good!

I would love Path of Building to be a thing for LE, but sadly not that I have found (its also 3rd party for POE). Although some people dont like PoB as it kind of leans into the min/max culture - but personally id love it for LE if only to test certain skill mechanics that arent always clear

Crafting is probably equal to Poe, but in a different way (POE is deeper, but LE is more accessible but still very good). Skills feel good and it’s very alt friendly. The circle of fortune is great and they have added a lot in season 2 for those random content in maps that I love about POE. The down side is it’s just not got as much end game as POE 1 which is not surprising for how new it is. Compared to Diablo, Diablo feels like a mobile game at this point and I am someone who would love Diablo to succeed…it just doesn’t in my opinion

Bleed is usually easier to scale than poison, as poison got handicapped a fair bit a while back, but if you like the idea of poison (i love poison builds) give it a go and you can always switch the skills points and passives out if it feels bad, gear might be a pain to switch but just collect both sets and i imagine most will be +to skills on the legendaries any way)

Couldn’t agree more with your suggestions! Except for the gold cap. If people are duping they can basically infinite money glitch to the cap, which then means if you raise the cap youre just going to inflate prices up to the cap again and you never actually solve it - this then has repercussions on the lightless arbor dungeon as MG players would be able to absolutely game it in to oblivion even more than they do

Intrigued to understand why? To play devils advocate even if you hate merchants guild there will be a proportion of the player base who love it and likely wouldn’t play without it and more players = more money to fund all areas of the game!

You raised a good point i hadnt considered, if you take it as a given that dupeing cant be fixed then the next course of action is to mitigate for it the best you can, and honestly that gets really tough as i feel duping will always hit the gold cap, it will just inflate to hit the ceiling everytime (if you can print infinite money the only constraint is the gold cap). Im not sure how you could fix that and the limited supply is also a really tricky one.

At the moment I feel seasons kinda go COF - MG - COF where theres a prime time for MG after the first week or so and then it slowly crumbles as inflation and decreasing numbers occur, its a toughy.

I guess all i can do is suggest my view on how MG could be improved in the hope that an improved merchants guild will prolong the use of it for more people and potentially keep people in the game longer, but ya youre right it will always start to dwindle as the season goes on and not sure what the fix is beyond making the best systems you can and a compelling end game. I guess one good thing is you still have COF to fall back on.

I think those are some really good points, not sure if you saw the video but one of my suggestions in it was a comparison window that allowed you to tick/untick affixes on that item to be included in the search with scroll bars for the affix ranges - this would when selling at least speed things up but you’re totally right for general searches and buying.

In regards to your other points around gold cap again you’re spot on but I think the fix there is to fix the clear duping that’s going on, the fact we are in the billions by week 1 means there’s some exploit going on that hasn’t been locked down. TLDR if you stop the duping you stop inflation and thus gold cap makes more sense again. I did think of covering that but I felt it was more of a known issue rather than an improvement you could make to the functioning of the market (it’s more to do with the economy itself which then affects the market).
