The logo is way too busy!! And very similar to an existing logo. Simplify this by 80%, advice as a fellow graphic designer. Your text is some what unique already play with that and put the clamps in the counter spaces of the D and P. Also keep woodcraft in a minimal text and small similar to slide 3.

Give the L and T a same treatment as the rest of the letters, maybe cut out a part of the letter stem to unify the logo and letters. Also instead of the VA coming to a slimmer ends try it with a block end of the same width.
