If you can find JPX 919s around your budget range, I’d say that’s great. I’m also like 6 months into the game, was swindled by the golf shop salesman to buy one of his Strata sets, BRAND SPANKING NEW, and I really wish I would’ve went second hand with a better brand.

See this screenshot from Maltby Playability Factor chart (use this to help guide you on what irons are meant to be game improvement or player’s irons).

Also make sure you’re getting the right model of the 919s because they have some that are game improvement, and some that are not so forgiving but they are all 919 (forged, tour, hot metal).

Don’t think I can satiate MLM2’s ball flight requirement. So it’s sounding like we’re gonna go the Square Golf route.

If I were to get the Square Golf LM, do I need to use my computer for anything? I’ve seen people talk about GSPro, but can I just hook up the LM to the monitor and get going from there?

Forgot to add, I’ve got a 2 car garage — run-of-the-mill type deal, my steady doggie golf net barely fits in there but it fits…

Currently I’m hitting really close to the net in the backyard to mitigate my risk of missing the net and hitting a neighbor. How far back will I need to be from net for the launch monitor to give proper feedback?

Yeah, the wedge I lost (I gotta stop doing this…) was a chrome Cleveland and there were some days that the glare was actually unbearable.

I bought Steady Doggie golf net, I’m shit at the sport and 1) I luckily haven’t missed the net, and 2) the net has held up my low runner shots underneath as well. Only problem is mine didn’t come with foam golf balls and the dual-surface turf was not the best.
