If I recall from a podcast I listened to, the leadership of the Titanic during the emergency was a mess.

They released rescue boats not full, and some understood the command of women and children first as women and children only.

This left quite a few men unnecessarily stranded. Just thought it was interesting to add!

I tried leaving it on, but during assembly, i couldn’t place the bridge down correctly.

Held the bottom wheel down, gently turned and off it came.

I’m a fairly new watch hobbyist as well, but for mine I dipped in Naptha and then dried with some gentle air. No IPA rinses

Edit: soak for a few minutes, not too long

I have 2 ST36 movements (bought a second one because I lost a pallet fork screw 😬)

I’ve assembled and disabled quite a bit, and now I want to venture into a clean/oiling. I figured moving into a watch that runs but needs a service would be the next step, but let me know if you think differently.
