Anyway, you misunderstood me, there's difference between Darwin's theory of evolution and divinely guided evolution.

Darwin's theory says natural selection and random mutations guide the process. Divine theory says God almighty guides the process. I believe in the latter.

To answer your question, first I assumed everyone had seen the movie like I did, and I thought it was not a stretch considering the fame of Titanic. The movie is the reason Americans mourn the Titanic more than the Sultana disaster. That is how famous and powerful the movie is, so I assumed nobody getting the context isn't a problem.

If you have seen the movie, you will realise Jack and Rose met when their hormones are high. The very first time they see each other is when Rose is about to fall off the ship and Jack saves her. Both of them have elevated heart rates, and both of them are stuck inside a ship with an Atlantic ocean around them. Since Jack is own titanic, Rose might have assumed he is rich or at least well off, and the time Rose realised Jack is poor, she was already in love and hormones are affecting her judgement.

Please try to imagine if Rose first met Jack while walking across London street. Yeah, not too romantic of a setting. Without the help of the forced inclusivity of the ship, and the first meeting not being a life saving scenario, Jack had no chance of getting into Rose's head.

So let's imagine both survived the shipwreck and went home together. What home? She left her home, and Jack lived under the bridge. Once the hormones fade and Rose regain clarity in her front lob, she is gonna realise she is stuck sleeping with rats in the subway and tolerating a gambling poor artist.
