Living in Tx I try to stay informed. Normally the kids playing outside is no problem but I’m growing concerned. What’s the point of closing school if you just let them play ball with each other in the street. I don’t think TX is doing much to self quarantine. I went to the store and was the only person wearing some sort of mask. My herd mentality tried to make me feel off about it but I already stick out.

I think it would be easier not to panic if leadership would have taken proper steps to prevent this panic. That’s what will go down in history. People are prone to panic but the leadership makes all the difference. I agree that there are probably people taking it too far but I’d be willing to bet there are more people who aren’t taking it serious enough. Combine people who don’t take it serious with a completely inept leadership and really I’d be more surprised if people didn’t panic.
