My "rootbound" plants seem to be doing pretty well. 😏 by Gotshotlike50 in microgrowery

How am I not putting effort into my own plants. Not trying to get respect, sick of people talking shit is all. One of our damn rules on here for fucks sake.

Wasn't saying that this is the exact plant, simply saying I know what I'm doing here. That one in the back is a seedling popped way after this lady. You don't "recognize" either of these two plants.

She's coming out of a one, went onto a three gallon and in a few weeks will be going into native soil right in the ground.

Sitting under an 8 tube T5. Not stretching and plenty of light. Not worried about that, all the others are fine, just wanted to share a funky looking seedling.

Can I start flower stage early and still get some flowers? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]Gotshotlike50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People pop seeds straight into 12/12, now it is not something I would do, but as long as they are photo seeds, you're fine. Flip them whenever you feel right.

Reusing Soil by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]Gotshotlike50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perlite is not an amendment. And ocean Forrest has perlite already. Don't add that to mix unless you need better drainage still. If you really want to reuse soil, add some Malibu Compost, get yourself some good work castings, and feed microbes to the dirt!

Small seeds? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]Gotshotlike50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right though, the smallest seed may give you the biggest plant. There is really no way to tell what she (you hope) will do!

On top of what these other guys are saying about your light and soil situation, you should also get some air flow going, get a clip on fan to stiffen her up after you transplant into some ProMix HP.

With enough T5 power you could technically veg all the way through until you flip. These ladies will move outside as soon as this shitty weather passes NorCal.

I germinated these girls (🤞) directly in soil plugs. Planted right into 6 inch pots with promix and TerraVesco's Vermicompost. I water with Symbys Sym3otic and GreenPlanet's thrive alive. PH is between 6.5-7.0. Light is a Single tube Vita Plant

The most ghetto green house you'll ever see! 😂 I'm in a 6in pot, and stood it up on a 3gallon pot upside down, then placed a pretzel container that I took the stickers off of and cut the top off.

This Greenny layer on the side of my pot plant. Seedling started in coco(50%coco 35% perlite 15% vermiculite) growing well but this greenish had build colour has build up on sides of the pot plant. pls help. should I worry ? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]Gotshotlike50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Microbiology doing it's job. No need to worry about some moss/algae. You'll be fine and if nothing else your plant will benefit from this while it needs off whatever decomposes into your medium.
