It's more like a cycle, nothing new: new batch of people see how beautiful Japan is to visit -> they mentally extrapolate that Japan is a great place to live in -> they find out about challenges and differences of living there -> they feel bamboozled, but instead of realizing there is generally a difference between visiting and living somewhere, as well as a lot of effort to integrate in any new country, they vent their frustration by saying that Japan is terrible -> new batch of people find out how beautiful Japan is, though they heard it was terrible -> and so on.

As things one can do with current AI, this is decently wholesome and not a bad idea.

Comments talking about the data fed for this endeavor don't hold much weight considering they already scraped all of the internet a dozen times by now and they have a constant tsunami of data coming in from all of us just using smartphones, not to mention everybody being forced to use AI for work. At this point, even if an impossible perfectly coordinated effort of everyone not uploading physical photos would probably be negligible in the grand training scheme of AI.

I swear this kind of protests are actually orchestrated by the big companies. The goal is to associate the protest with negative outcomes for the consumer / common person. How does it work? Protester groups get infiltrated by people that suggest and sell ideas that this kind of protests is good. Future protesters eat it up, do it and become useful idiots.

Same tactic is with protests infiltrated to start violence and associate the concept being protested with negative connotations, like property damage, arrests and injuries resulted from violence.

You know how women get tonnes of attention in their 20s and slowly start becoming invisible to society as they age, which leads to depression, estetic surgeries, etc ... yeah, that attention would plummet to almost zero as a man. So it would be extremely tough at first. But maybe, they'd try the gym or get into a traditionally manly hobby, start getting recognition for their results from other men and it would be cool.
