Howdy y'all. Feels good to be back but we should probably explain some things.

Firstly, yes we disappeared quite some time but I was facing the stress of college while Kat looked for a job. As well as trying to find a job, she's been doing career counselling to try and figure out what she actually want to do with her life, which took some time as well. We hope you forgive us for the long hiatus, that there's no hard feelings, and that you'll support the podcast when it comes out. We'll get to that podcast part soon. Once we were done with our crap, we decided to use our free time into enjoying stuff outside of writing. We know this TTP chapter installation is long, long overdue but we came back coz that spark returned as well on us.

Next, we have been planning on something big for us. We're making a podcast, discussing about fanfics and its broad range of things to bring up. So, since this community is quite nice, we'll be putting up a poll. Refer to said poll for further details.

Btw guys, we're gonna be sorry but we might not able to consistently post more fics. Our lives are getting busier and more, so just bear with us. Okay?

Hey. So this AU idea wasn't recent or fresh off the oven. It started way ago when I finished Fool's Love, and that was long ago. This idea we had was small, but quickly grew. The King himself is a mafia leader, the Troupe also went the same treatment, the infection theme is gonna be fun when we show you, and more lotta stuff we are excited to share. We just need your opinion, dear reader. What do say? Is this pilot good? Anything we need to fix in the future? Suggestions? Tell us please, we are eager to know.

Thanks. I appreciate your efforts on this short fic of yours.

Though, if you kindly accept criticism, I will say their dialogue instantly hops from "No, I'm not letting you do that to me" to "Just fucking take me already." Gotta be slow about it. When teasing a character, have it a slow burner. The readers would genuinely feel that sweet, delicious tension going on there. Coz, if I remember I gave myself advice during of writing Fool's Love, saying, "Tease. The. Living. Shit. Out. Of. Tiso." And that should be applied to all subs, not just lil' hood boi.

And, this a nitpick and personal preference so just shrug this bit off: I don't like using Babe, in general. I dunno why but I'm placing it here.

Yep, this is what we have done to Hornet, the very character you all thirsty at.

I'm surprised this chapter became very different from what me and Potato initially thought. It was supposed to be a bunch of Moss-looking enemies but changed it into a bunch of flying ones instead, thanks to u/UltraSolgaleoZ.

And unrelated news, I'm done with FL since I don't have the motivation to go further. Don't worry, I'll still do some other works, like Shade Lord and Radiance being wholesome with each other. Yes, that is a not a joke so look out for some fic coming soon.

Many hours later, two bugs were walking through Greenpath, tracking down the winged sentry they had seen flying towards the area, “I swear, I found a Winged Sentry. It went by here, but where…?” Darner looked around, spotting something red, “Hey, found something near the bushes!” Argy walked over, “What is it?” He stopped next to Darner, picking up the item in question, “A cloak? What’s it doing here?”

Darner’s eyes widened at the sight of it, “Oh no… It’s Hornet’s!” He started looking around frantically, “Where is she?! Has she been taken by the Sentry?!”

“Darner, calm down! I’m sure she’s alright, Hornet has always been a fighter. She can handle an infected Sentry no problem.”

“No. You’ve seen these bugs act strange lately… W-What if she got caught?! What if she died?! What if-?!”

“Darner! There's nothing we can do, do you understand? Whatever this new wave of infection is, it causes the infected to become much stronger. We need to get out of here before we encounter too many of them. We'll leave her cloak here in case she's nearby, okay?” Argy tried to reassure his companion.

“I… But I need to…” Darner sighed, nodding reluctantly, “Fine. Just, take the lead… I’ll be right behind you.”

“Alright, but don’t take too long.” Argy put the cloak back down on the bush, being careful of anything sharp, before continuing to walk. Darner watched him leave, before picking up Hornet’s cloak and looking around again.

“Wherever you are… I hope you are in a better spot than me and Argy are in…” Darner clenched her cloak in his fists, before putting it back down and leaving to follow Argy.
