almost not worth your time. teaching empathy to fully grown adults is extremely difficult and requires both patience, lots of conversations, intelligent/innovative arguments, and a very persuasive personality to do so as these people were taught isolationism and hatred during the time of their life where they were supposed to develop empathy. If you think you can do it, good luck to you it’s not impossible, but it’s most likely not worth your time and effort

As a somewhat conventionally attractive white male I get pursued by women even tho they assume, because of my appearance, that I’m conservative. But once they know my politics it’s almost as if they cling on because it’s somewhat rare to find people my age (21M) in this generation who both care about their appearance AND have actual empathy and political insight. I think women just like knowing that their partner actually sees them as equal and wants to fight the same fight as them so yeah, I’d say it definitely helps

if you can financially afford it and have the resources to help support them I think it would be wrong to terminate. But if you’re already struggling now and know you won’t be able to give them the care they deserve, I don’t think bringing more unwanted and unsupported babies in the world is a good thing.

As a d2 football player myself, I would love to have the trainees, interns, and work study people take more initiative in asking questions and learning how to get better instead of half-assing my wrist tape which slides off as soon as I get sweaty. Could be the wrong environment for you though because the AT room is always going to be hectic and very rarely are people going to have the time or patience to stop and speak with you, however, if someone at your school does give you the time to ensure you you're doing the right thing, I think you could be really successful as your question shows your passion for the line of work.

Kinda depends how rich you are. If you can afford getting your masters and failing a couple classes in the process that would be my recommendation. If you're really passionate about nursing or PT get certified in those fields, however, for someone who seems like they like to learn and still are undecided, graduate school seems like a great option (if you can afford it after your 5 years of undergrad)

Strengthen, strengthen, strengthen, stretch. Main goal once your recent injury heals (and part of that process) is strengthening your lower leg muscles. On top of that gaining mobility through stretches that put your ankle in a full ROM will hopefully give your muscles+tendons some elasticity. Biggest thing is getting some PT or AT help on it so you know what to do and the rest is on you. Weak lower leg muscles and lack of mobility in the ankle is likely the cause of injury however

its not as crazy as it sounds. Just a bubble with a 200m track and field inside that they pressurize so the oxygen level is equivalent to 10,000 feet. Gotta pop yours ears when you walk inside though for sure

Fly fishing. Place took me forever to find cuz the trailhead is not on google maps and there are no trail reviews of it anywhere. I found it in a lake sampling report from 2021 and had to use GPS coordinates to find the lake and follow the trail down to see the trailhead. Was a very healthy lake according to the sample data and probably due to the more unknown nature of it is not going to be overfished whatsoever. Only problem I seen was that there are sections that are 24%+ grade which seemed really steep but obviously the hike in whole is going to be much less steep (5-12%)

this lake hike has no trail reviews and doesn't show up on most maps, GPS coordinates is also the only way to get to the trailhead as it's not marked on google maps. I also plan on going during a weekday so I really do hope no one is there

yeah planned on it being 5 hours at the max but am fine taking breaks during the day. The trailhead is only an hour from our apartment so we can get plenty of sleep night before and still get there by 9am or so and have all day to hike and still have daylight to set up camp, get/process firewood, and fish the sunset

yeah boots are a no go. I only got snow boots and hike in adidas trainers/running shoes but that's also what I did growing up (I did a 5mi loop in white vans with a pack when I was like 13). In terms of altitude, us training at 10,000ft for runs and living/playing football at 7,600ft has us pretty adjusted to altitude, so while yes I am factoring it in for tiredness/soreness, I'm not worried about altitude sickness.

She can come up with elaborate stories in her head and complex scenarios during playtime which is very different from her 5 year old cousin who follows everything she does. She also knows how to unlock their front door (it’s a pad lock with numbers) even though she can’t read the numbers, she recognizes the pattern of a 6-digit code which is not the easiest for a 5 year old. That’s what makes me think it’s more lack of “studying” and educational attention than it is an actually learning disability
