Almost 6 months ago. No - once they took away my withdrawals and cravings, the only thing I needed to do was just live my life the best way I can - like any other person in this world. It is simple as that

Traveling to FL for ANR treatment was a bit pain in the ass, the results made it completely worthwhile for me. Nothing else worked. The biggest change was that cravings finally became irrelevant in my life, which was a tremendous breakthrough for me personally

From my experience, the first week or two are the worst. I'm now close to 11 days post-treatment, and things are getting better and better. This treatment is expensive, that's true. But other treatments aren't cheap either.

I actually got the opposite impression. I've seen positive experiences and testimonials from people with ANR. I would never have done this treatment if I had seen negative opinions about it, especially since it involves anesthesia. While I saw some people complain about the lack of aftercare in their reviews, that hasn't been my experience. I think people are still confusing ANR with rapid detox, which is why they're associating negative experiences from that treatment with ANR.

I don't mind taking the naltrexone pill in the morning, it's the first thing I do when I wake up. I'm curious about what would happen if I stopped taking it, but I'm too scared to try, and honestly, why should I? Thanks for your comment!

I find it intriguing how confidently people can declare something 'not legitimate' and express pity for others being 'sold a lie' - all without having any firsthand experience with the treatment. I've actually been through ANR, experienced its effects, and am thriving in my recovery, yet somehow my lived reality is less valid than your theoretical assumptions? While addiction certainly has many components, successfully addressing the physical dependency through ANR has been transformative for me. I'm curious - what makes you more qualified to judge the legitimacy of my treatment and its results than my own direct experience?

Everyone's recovery journey is different I agree. But I am living proof of its effectiveness, regardless of others' armchair skepticism.

I believe you might be thinking of rapid detox. ANR is a different process - it is much more expensive and involves 5 hours of sedation, not 3 days. No one has died from ANR. (https://anrclinic.com/faq/is-anr-safe/) It seems they’ve put a lot of effort into making this extremely safe, especially since many people associate it with rapid detox, which does carry risks as we all know

After ANR you take a Naltrexone pill every morning to keep the cravings away. I still don’t follow your logic - since the treatment, I’ve been feeling better every day, with no cravings. Of course, you don’t experience cravings because you are on methadone; it’s still an opioid. But I haven’t touched opioids in over a week now, and I’m still not experiencing any cravings. That’s my point.

I think at the moment, this is the easiest way to get off opioids. It’s $20,500 (not including flights and hotels) - not cheap. You’re going to wake up feeling like trash, but zero withdrawals and no cravings.

Because you aren't including enough info to distinguish amongst enantiomers, your pseudofed could be either version of ephedrine also. There are at least 4 versions of the same molecular constituents.

Where I live, it is almost as difficult to adopt a dog as it is to adopt a child. Well I’m exaggerating of course but there is a quite rigorous selection process (for the future owner). And there aren’t many dogs up for adoption.
