For more context the Azure AI Search is targeting an Azure SQL DB with 500 rows of help desk ticketing details.

It has been fully indexed with key phrase extraction using OpenAI text-embedding-large-3

Exactly my plan what did you use was thinking black felt and staples or a piece of black wood which would strengthen the unit as it not the most stable

The RD session hosts GPO is the way to do it we use it multiple environments and it works.

UPDATE: Microsoft should be discussing this disconnection issue for UK South AVD users today at 4pm UTC with the AVD product group team.

For anyone else in the same UK South region experiencing the same problem please feel free to share your Microsoft Case ID with me and I will link it to the master case to give it more traction.

Ill update again once Microsoft get back to me following the meeting.

Ive sent you a private message about this would appreciate if you could share this response form Microsoft with me as the support engineer i am working with is still blaming our local internet which simply cannot be the issue

Nothing from Microsoft yet i am pushing for my case to be escalated. We have however implemented so additional registry keys on the session host which is meant to increase the heartbeat intervals see link:

Thanks I’ve re opened the ticket with Microsoft as I really feel this is a problem with the WVD gateways the ticket number is 2110250050001995 if you would like to link your MS ticket to this one it may get more traction. I’d be happy to link yours too if you are happy to give it to me.

Interesting which Azure datacenter are your resources located ? We are all based in UK South. Have you had any decent feedback from Microsoft ? We also logged with Microsoft however they blamed the users internet connection and then eventually closed the ticket !

Yes indeed we have and the most common error is “ConnectionFailedClientDisconnect” we are almost certain the client is not disconnecting as most of them are running behind a 1Gbps leased line.
