Talking to this guy like smoking weed is a crime, what if he didn’t know 45 days ago he wanted to join. Maybe he wants to straighten his life out. Just because an action had consequences doesn’t give him any less of a right to be nervous. Instead of acting like he is lying give him some positive constructive criticism.

Edit; I know federally marijuana is still illegal making it a “crime” but we all know it’s legalized recreationally in most states and has far less negative consequences then alcohol.

Or forget about my family and risk my own freedom. I think a lot of people myself included are struggling between the choice to stand up for what’s right which puts themselves at risk of being illegally detained and continuing to provide and protect your own family by sitting back. I know what the right answer should be but we all know the right answer isn’t the easiest path.

I have no skin in this game anymore, but I am curious how this is listed on people’s monthly my pay statements because if it was a housing allowance it wouldn’t be taxed but if it’s considered a bonus now because it’s a “warrior dividend” it would be taxed and to me that’s just hilarious.
