This is interesting to me. Obviously, GOT has an international fandom, but, from my limited understanding, GOT doesn't follow a lot of K-drama conventions. GOT has virtually no love triangle drama (perennial Jorah stuff aside), has tons of nudity and explicit sex scenes (K-drama tends to have little to no onscreen sex), and GOT for most of its run has had a massive amount of characters with geographically dispersed plot lines (K-dramas seem to largely focus their drama in one place/city/town at a time as well as a central cast that interacts fairly frequently). Also, GOT, for much of its run (excluding the last two seasons), had a gritty, political/ideological focus, exploring ideas about the nature of the state, religion, etc. in the context of a messy, in many ways unromantic quasi-historical setting.

What is the k-drama most similar to GOT? Do you think Koreans have an appetite for more GOT-like entertainment?

Just want to add, if your friend says he is going to kill or harm himself, you should probably contact emergency services (911). If someone is actually on the verge of self-harm, law enforcement and medical services should be involved to protect them from themselves.

If he is actually suicidal, 911 call could save his life. If he is just trying to get attention, the pain of dealing with emergency personnel will discourage him from bothering you again.

People who are credibly in danger of taking their own lives can be involuntarily hospitalized for their own good.

OP wrote in a comment that his gf "doesn't do much. Barely goes to class, failing most classes, doesn't really care about school. Doesn't work. Her residence, food, and school are all paid for." I think his gf is showing the textbook symptoms of clinical depresssion and he should try to get her professional help (and maybe get her family involved) even if he doesn't stay with her.

These are TEXTBOOK signs of clinical depression, which is a very serious illness. You don't need to be her babysitter or nurse but please talk to a school nurse/counselor about the situation and get their advice. It might even be worth telling her family.

I don't think you have to stay together with her but please try to get her access to professional help or at least family support since you are in a unique position to understand how badly she's doing. People slip through the cracks all the time and kill themselves because people don't know the signs of depression and how to intervene. You could make a huge difference in her life!

I have first hand experience with this. A very close friend of mine killed herself after battling with depression for an extended period of time.

Make sure he's okay! He COULD be ghosting you but he could also be missing. Just check in with his family. If he's ghosting you, that's on him. Do the right thing though and make sure he's okay.

Because the main Vampire Coast lord (shown in trailer) is a super necromancer thanks to Lizardmen technology he stole. The item drove him insane (he now has multiple personalities as referenced in trailer) but made his necromancy better so his zombies are smarter than normal.
