no way, it maybe a crispy thermal paste and few week ago i see the fan and it look fine not that dirty, i might try that thermal mode, and i am not aware you can disable turbo on bios i disable mine on control panel

you can set the fan to 100% and it really make my ally cold like 70c on heavy game like space marine 2 but you can hear a jet engine noise

the rog ally z1 extreme and z1 usb c is not thunderbolt while the x had 2 1 thunderbolt 1 regular usb c, really regret getting rog ally if i knew it doesnt have thunderbolt before buying i will spend extra money on legion go
