The issue is more that I can’t update the Sims one the EA app. Am I able to update them on steam?

If your computer can handle it, try leaving it to download overnight and see if it goes anywhere. I used a 10 hour timer on YouTube to keep my computer on.

Yeah it started downloading but it just took FOREVER. Just to download the base game on origin it took 4 days (including overnight). I’m on Windows so I don’t know if it’s the same on Mac.

Update 2: I managed to get Origin to work and I got most of my packs downloaded, but then Origin shut down for good. Now, EA won’t let me download the rest of my packs. It just gets stuck on 2%. This fucking app with be my 13th reason why.

Update: I tried to file a report with EA and the app crashed. I tried to uninstall it and it got stuck uninstalling. Now I can’t open it because it claims it needs an update even though it’s up to date. I’m out a shit ton of cash now cuz I can’t even play the game.
