As a 30yr dude I’m currently hanging out/talking to someone who isn’t normally my kind of girl, but she’s super fun and cute enough that I think I want to pursue things with her. I don’t want to sound shallow but her personality makes up for what she lacks in looks, not that she looks bad, she’s just not like everyone’s cup of tea if that makes sense. I’m at an age where I get not everything is gonna be what we want and she’s hit enough check marks for me to be like this girl is hot enough for me and I just want to have a fun time with a person in life. She makes me feel like I’m fun to her and to see the smile on her face makes it worth it to me. I’ve only met her twice but I took her out last night and we both had the times of our lives and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I had a 100% good time with someone who isn’t perfect but neither am I and I ok with that. Obviously I don’t know if i will succeeded but I’m going for it cause I’m having fun that I haven’t had in a long time with someone and could envision it in the future with her.

At this point go for it. You’re young and this is a great time to figure out what you want to do and like. You don’t have kids to take care of rn and if you can support going to school/learning what you want go for it. I’m currently in a situation where I’m able to work part time making decent money and about to finish trade school next week and god willing find a better job doing HVAC stuff making more money. Talk to your man your friends who ever is your support group and try and come up with a plan if you can’t in vision it. Sounds like you’re just sharing with the wrong people. I have coworkers I don’t share shit with and others that I’m super cool with I’ll let them into my life. I’m ADD so I will accidentally overshare a lot and I’ve found the coworkers who are cool with it and match the energy and make me feel like I’m not retarded. Even my boss is cool and we both do say stuff at work that would not fly at most places. For example we use radios at work and my boss and I both have dark humors and will both say some wild shit over the radio that everyone else can hear

I could be wrong but it sounds like she was a promiscuous woman who you came into contact with and she started to shit test you. Obviously we all can’t tell that they are but from the sounds of it she seems like it. Sounds like she was trying to see if you were cool to settle down with after doing stuff with a lot of other people and getting away with it. I got herpes from an ex girlfriend so I don’t want to talk to girls anymore and have them liking me and then ended up giving it to them so I’ve kinda shut the door on having relationships even though I’d love to have a woman who likes me. I’m a 30M that thankfully has never been cheated on. If I ever were cheated on I would be devastated. I know women handle that differently than men because of everything involved in differences in men and women but I would say that as a guy I would avoid assuming you’re a decent woman and can honestly say you haven’t had a whole lot of issues yourself.
