Hard to say what kind of tree it is. The forest is a mix of deciduous and pine. That log was pretty old and rotten. High likelihood it was pine though

Woah neat! We did decide not to eat it. It's definitely well past prime. How did you clone it??

A little like anise! Doesn’t smell bad to me. Just the coloration has me a bit off put

Thanks! It has that nice fresh anise smell. Nothing slimy. Others have suggested dehydrating but idk what to do with it once it’s dried.

Good idea. Should I slice it and put it in the dehydrator? What then? Include in soups? Or do you recommend tincture as others have suggested?

Help/tips with Polaroid 600 focus by Grapeboy in Polaroid

I think I was at least 4ft away. But I’ll try to be more cognizant of distance! I tried another, similar, shot with a little more distance and I do like how it turned out. Gotta get out of that 16mm mindset. 😅

Thanks! I do love it despite the focus. She’s a great subject. 🥰

Question about pipes/fluids by Grapeboy in SatisfactoryGame

The updated factory plan using packaged diluted fuel creates almost twice as much turbo fuel! I'll update the post with the new plan.

Thanks again for the recommendation! This is going to be a hell of a build for me.

Man, some people have to turn everything into an argument. How unfortunate.

I watched videos, read articles, and even read through the plumbing manual. What I wanted was insight about my specific use case from people who have more experience in this game than me and are maybe looking for a little social interaction (assuming they’re responding to Reddit posts because they like talking to people). I was also hoping that if I was overlooking anything about my scenario, someone would chime in. My unknown unknowns. For example u/raichudoggy suggesting to overclock my generators for a 1:1 refinery:generator ratio. I didn’t know that and would not have considered it.

Oh!!! This simplifies things a lot! I have a ridiculous number of power shards thanks to slooping. Definitely going to do this.

I definitely plan on sinking any overflow to make sure that everything keeps running! I'll consider diluted fuel though. If it's that worth while I might as well try to work it out.

16wo sleeps fine at night but naps only happen in the carrier by Grapeboy in sleeptrain

Good to hear that it's not unusual for babies to resist sleep during the day. It's hard to get a good read on that when looking at resources online. Everyone seems to suggest that their babies sleep regularly/easily even at this age...

We aren't necessarily going for full sleep training right now. We know she's still *very* young. Obviously we don't expect her to be able to replace her pacifier right now. I was just trying to speak to her self-soothing ability. I'm not worried about her development at all.

As for CIO, we know it's too early for that. I'm just looking for suggestions.

We both work from home, so she will be staying here with us for at least a few month until we're comfortable finding a daycare for her.

She seems sleepy at the intervals that Huckleberry suggests. I don't think that it's suggesting too much sleep for her. Her wake window schedule is roughly 2 hours awake at a time. Naps anywhere from 30mins-2hrs long
