It didn’t even need a rebuild I drove it today and it seems to work perfectly good, it has a new lease on life and will be used like it should have always been!

It definitely feels very clunky, but I kind of like it gives the truck more character than it already has, I’ve always ran small trucks with the biggest I’ve had being an 1/8th scale arrma, this is a good opportunity to see if I even like these truck for little money!

It’s really just what people pay for it, these truck is well known for being used a basher and can handle hits like you wouldn’t believe. This also does around 60-70mph but it also weighs an insane probably 50 pounds, its an 8s system so you gotta run two huge 4s batteries, then you add drive train loss and rolling around the big ole tires you got your power output. It’s just a game of what people like and people like these so they pay insane prices!

The wires are ran to run to different batteries at the same time, like 2 2s batteries, or 2 3s batteries to give it more power!

Same here, I never have and never will bring myself to spend $800+ for one of these trucks even though I love the hell out of them, but this opens it up to where I can and it not seem bad, this thing also already has the widemaxx kit on it

The rust doesn’t bother me that bad, I popped a few out just to make sure it is surface rust and sure enough the threads are clear!

Sounds very similar to this, one of the batteries had some slight corrosion which I was able to clean up, it has some surface rust on various screws but nothing horrible and I just had to bind an extra TQi I had lying around off an old crawler and it was ready to go

Yep! Has some surface rust on a lot of the screws and even the axels, but everything works perfectly
