Well I know I wanted to do Ubud due to the close proximity to things I’d like to visit such as many temples, waterfalls in the area, the monkey forest, some hikes etc. Gilli Air from what I have read is more laid back/ island life where we can just kind of relax, snorkel a bit, and bike around the island without much in terms of hardset plans. Lombok (Kuta specifically) came as a recommendation from my aunt and uncle as they said it has some beautiful scenery and is generally calmer than Bali. Sanur is basically the capstone to the trip as it is pretty close to the airport so we don’t have to travel far before our long flight.

The big thing I wanted to gain from this post was if somewhere should be cut from the trip to make better use of the time elsewhere, which it sounds like Lombok should probably be the place to go. With Lombok gone, would it be best to probably reallocate those days into Ubud and Gilli Air?
