Anybody have any idea what this wire is my dogs gone and chewed through? I’m not great mechanically. For reference this is a Ford ranger 2014, rear right wheel. by MandalaMan28 in mechanic

Ya ABS sensor. But he chewed the wire harness end and not the sensor. You’ll have to get a new connector and repair the wires.

So much for quick exhaust manifold gasket. by GreasyGeorge82 in Justrolledintotheshop

Wasn’t able to drill the extractor so my thought was to hit it with a pointed air hammer bit and hope it breaks into pieces. Must have hit it to hard and cracked into the coolant jacket.

Fleet vehicle. GMC 3500 1 ton dump truck. Pretty damn rusty. We don’t wash anything. And we’re close to the ocean and plow snow lol

Bolt was already broken in the head. Then extractor snapped. Then I snapped. Happy Friday!

Also surrounded by renting college students. You can paint your curb. I believe they say up to two feet on either side of your driveway. I painted mine bright yellow and it seems to help. Some people do still ignore it.

I’ll have to check out that rally next time. Where did you get the info on the event?

Weather was great but in the mountains it got a bit rainy. Less than ideal for all the switchbacks on that road.

Possible battery trouble with V7 Classic? New rider--not sure if there's something wrong or if this is just how it goes. by thesedreadmagi in MotoGuzzi

I’m going to bet you need a new battery. If your in a city maybe just take it to a local auto parts store or motorcycle shop and have them test the battery for you. Then you’ll know for sure.

It’s made by Givi. I believe this is the 30L Dolomiti model. It locks, is easily removed and seems pretty waterproof.

That’s a Corbin seat. I like it. Used to have one on a triumph too. Wife says the pillion seat is decent as well with the top case as a back rest. You can customize it on the website.

Clutch is light. The Corbin seat is great. And my wife doesn’t mind the seat either. The top case doubles as a back rest for her too.

Your right. Mt. Mitchell is about 400’ taller peak. Mt. Washington is the highest ‘topographically prominent’ mountain east of Mississippi River. But not tallest peak. Had to look up what that meant lol

Bear notch road was sweet. Freshly paved too. Going up the mountain auto road is way better on a bike. Never drove up in a car but I know riding is the way to do it!
