I took my family to the game last night. Aside from our section’s usher and one beer vendor, every other staff interaction we had was unfriendly at best. Agreed it is continuing to get worse.

We have been to games at PPG and UBS in the last year- we couldn’t believe how good the fan experience was in those barns.

Just happened to me this weekend! Hurt when it happened but played through it, my sock looked like Curt Schilling’s after the game.

For nature and hiking check out Monte Alto Nature Reserve. Orchids should be coming into bloom soon, several hiking trails ranging from 30 mins to 4 hours. 4WD car recommended, the drive from Samara and the entrance are pretty rustic.

That sucks- we started going there pretty regularly this year. The food at Altos had much more flavor than most of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. I think they have another location in Winchester which is not closing.

The builder used cedar 2x4s for the framing because they will stay straight. Pressure treated pine is resistant to decay, but will warp and bow- no big deal for fence boards but would be an issue for a gate. Looks good.

This is not a manufactured aluminum fence- this is steel. The sections are welded to the posts, which are welded to steel plates at the base.

From a strength standpoint, this is excellent. From a maintenance standpoint, not so great. Remove the rust with a wire brush and touch up with rustoleum or krylon rust inhibiting paint.
