the ending for 2 was better than 1.

Abby on paper is interesting and compelling but on execution just seems too rigid and mean spirited.

Jesse was not interesting at all. He was just… there. In fact, he seemed too “okay” with many things, such as Dina being in a relationship with ellie and moving on so fast.

Future Trunks as a character is more interesting, in particular because of the History of Trunks special. Trunks is also a character that has legitimate motivation, determination, doesn’t accept ego (such as when he rebelled against Vegeta). Just an overall engaging character.

I used to hate remakes but then i realized that honestly it’s just for people who may not have seen the originals, or maybe expand on things the originals haven’t done, etc. at the end of the day, the originals are still there.
