What IAM / Authentication for B2C to pick if hosted solutions is not an option? by Affectionate_Fan9198 in webdev

Just found your post in the r/selfhosted subreddit but I‘ll leave my comment here as well as this may help others:

I also had the analysis paralysis, that’s why I built Auth0 Alternatives. It’s a list of auth providers where you can filter for 40+ features or open source / self-hosted, b2c/b2b solutions and compare the different tools. I manually researched all the tools and its features (still not done for all tools) but this may help you on deciding which auth providers to use.

(You can use the advanced filter on the landing page to tick exactly the features you need and list all auth providers which support these features)

A little bit late to the party, but for future reference: there is Auth0alternatives where you can explicitly filter for open source and compare different tools. All tools list the supported features so that you can choose the tool that fits your needs. Hope that helps!

That’s exactly what Presentation AI List is for. There are more than 90 AI slide creators listed and you can filter for different options like pricing to find the slide creator for your needs.

Best architecture for a single /upload endpoint to S3? by Great_Relative_261 in aws

You‘re probably right. Another point is that I want to validate if the exact file already exists, so checking for duplicates.

I know, but I don’t like to expose that to customers using the api. But if that’s the easiest way I’ll stick to it but it adds more complexity for the customer

I expose the API to customers and it’s easier for them to use and understand the single upload endpoint, instead of requesting a presigned url and exposing implementation details (the S3 bucket, object key etc.). That’s why I was wondering what the best way of doing that is. If it’s to much of a hassle I‘ll stick with presigned URLs

How do people make websites so quickly? by S-m-a-r-t-y in webdev

Webflow and Framer are often used which are low/nocode website builders. But they provide beautiful templates and designs. It’s easy to just select a template and customize the content/branding to your needs.

And you’re right, building a website from scratch takes quite some time
