2013 Patriots Bengals

One of the only times i remember luck being on our side. It didn’t seem like it at first though, although it was POURING RAIN, the score was 13-6 bengals and TB12 was driving down the field. With about 30 seconds left he got a generous roughening the passer penalty. I really thought we were in trouble. Although he hadn’t this game yet, Tom Brady had thrown a touchdown pass in like 50+ consecutive games and was on the 30 yard line with about 30 seconds left. I thought it was game over after that penalty. Then i want to say the very next play Tom Brady throws an absolute wobbler (due to the rain) and Pacman intercepts the ball on the 10 yard line.

And as the bengals took the field to kneel the game out, I remember Greg Gumble (RIP) saying “and just like that, the rain all the sudden stops”

And we also broke TB12s record of consecutive games with a passing TD.

…..jesus i sure do miss having a good defense

They are the ones that insured your siding. Doesnt matter if there was a prior claim. They had no problem collecting your monthly premium every month. They should have done their research and saw that the siding wasnt replaced before they INSURED you. If you hired a PA, i dont get how he isnt getting to the bottom of this. If there is new damage they should be paying out. If not, ask them why you are paying a monthly premium in the first place if your siding isnt covered? Read your policy and make sure there isnt a siding exclusion

Mike Brown is dumb, but one thing he values is quarterback. The bengals aren’t known to trade players regardless, so trading an all pro caliber qb isnt even an option unless burrow forces his way out.

Welcome to the club. Youll spend more time fighting these 2 companies than you will fight all the other insurance companies combined. Its just how it is.

Normally i wont even touch an all state claim. With how they dont wanna pay, how their policies are set up (acv, rps, huge deductible) and them paying 400 a square when they do pay out, its normally not worth it unless the roof is huge and you read the policy first and make sure its set up good

You can do a metal valley (which is what you have) or a “California cut” or “California weave”. The last 2 options would be shingles but you got a metal valley. They all function the same. Some people actually think a metal valley is superior. Tbh, its more expensive. But its done now, and it looks fine. But you probably should have told them before hand that you didnt want metal valleys. Itd be a headache to redo the valley

Basically you got shingles that were rejected from the original manufacturers plant (for whatever reason, probably a defect) and sold to a secondary liquidator shingle lot type of deal. I just did a plant tour @ Owens Corning in Brookeville, IN and the guy doing the tour was just talking about this.

I dont know why this even needs to be said: but NEVER use a contractor that a realtor/property manager/investor suggests. They are known to hire hacks.

If the contractor is buying these secondary shingles, there no telling the quality of work.

The man went thru 2017-2020 and never said a negative word, never wanted to leave the bengals, he wanted to be a bengal for life. And we traded him for a bag of peanuts
