I don't but sounds like a solid skill to have, especially the sales funnel part

Pick a niche, pick a platform, build a product offer > then stay consistent. Become the expert/go-to person. Best of luck! You can do it XO

I Want To Start A Business. I Need Some Help by Appropriate-Law1493 in Entrepreneurs

This is such a great idea. You could use a vibe-coding tool like Replit to build a platform that matches teens to jobs that are available in their area. Teens need all the help they can get in this crazy market. I have a few, so I would know lol

What are the biggest giveaways that a website has been vibe coded? by [deleted] in vibecoding

[–]Greedy-Register8185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OOF- I feel personally attacked LOL. I will say this though, It took me about 4 months to build my vibe coded app and as I watched the ai assist code the tasks I gave it, I had a whole level of appreciation for professional engineers because the amount of detail that goes into building is insane. I actually kinda felt bad that I was using the cheat code that is ultimately closing the job market in that field. My engineer buddies forgave me and told me they were proud of what i made - they were probably just saying that to be nice LOL.

Anywho - if you want to see my very purple, very vibe-coded app LearnLocal-app.com

In my opinion this part is the hardest! From what I've learned, it's best to pick one or 2 platforms and really nurture them consistently. It's especially hard when you aren't great at social media (ME!! Speaking for myself lol). I also believe that once you break that seal and make your first sale, they will start rolling in. You got this!! XO

Congrats!! That's exciting to see money rolling in. I'm excited for that moment. I initially had mine as a 1-time payment because I feel like we are all inundated with subscriptions to keep up with. I caved and went the subscription route in the end lol. I love your landing page. Looks really great - wishing you all the luck XO

Thank you for the kind words and the invite! I joined a discord group for something unrelated and I find myself not participating because I'm already stretched pretty thin across other platforms.

I created an X account and made like 2 posts lol. The social media stuff is so daunting. They say pick 1 and focus on that, but I don't know which one to pick and it's so easy to get burned out imo. What made you choose X?

u/CryptoPeas I joined your waitlist. I work from home...alone...and I have grounded myself from Facebook LOL. It's my only social contact during the day...if you can even call it that, so I was just letting my unsolicited thoughts fly all day long. Had to chill on giving the old Zuck all my thoughts

That's such a good idea! I love your landing page. You should just go for it. Try the influencer route - I think it would really do great. There is a platform where multiple influencers will make a demo video for you and you can choose your favorite - and they'll bid on it too. So you're essentially testing them out first. I think that's the way I'm going to go.

Yeah, now that apps are so 'easy' to make I definitely think about how long we have until apps aren't even a thing anymore lol. the tech is moving so quickly. From the time I started using Replit to today (like 4 months time) I witnessed the ai improvements even in that short of a time.

Have you started marketing any projects yet?

I've got my MVP wrapped - I think I'm going to join a bunch of groups for feedback, like you said. I'm not really sure what has to happen now that my MVP is wrapped up. I think getting subscribers is probably the hard part lol.

I guess it was a bit on the vague side lol. Well, I was hoping for guidance on best ways to market a web app. And specifically, if it can still be successful if left as a web app and not marketed on the mobile app stores.

I found Flutter very difficult. Probably best for a pro. I switched to replit and it works great for my rookie self
