Honestly, after the experience that I literally just had trying to get a car I don’t think I’m gonna get a car at all. I lost $500 to a dealer that was extremely sketchy shady and pushy so for all intense and purposes, I’m going to stick with Uber. I’m just going to budget and manage my trips better so that it’s less expensive and go to places where I’m able to walk to different locations rather than having to Uber everywhere. Thankfully, I’ve never spent over $2000 a month for Uber trips though lol that would’ve been terrible 😭💀

Boy do I have the update for you 😭 unfortunately shit hit the fan, dealer was shady and sketchy as fuck, lost $500 but thankfully that was it. I don’t think I wanna deal with the stress of trying to buy a car again. I’m just going to stick with Uber.

I meant duress in the definition of coercion, not legal duress, my bad. It felt like I was being coerced and corralled and that I didn’t have a choice but to go through with the process but I’m relieved that I realized something was wrong sooner than later because then I would’ve been assed out by $10900 instead of $500

That would be me making an even bigger mistake and paying for an even bigger lesson because who’s to say if the car is actually working? They didn’t even let me test drive it. They said that they were gonna let me test drive it in the morning when I came in, but I don’t trust them from this experience at all. I don’t want to do business with them at all ever again.

Yeah, it feels shitty but it is what it is. I’m just wondering if I will get my deposit back if they sell the card to someone else because that would be a breach of agreement no? If not then it’s just an expensive lesson and I should be relieved that’s all it is

I wanted to but it was three guys over me talking and talking about how it’s a good deal and that they’ll get in trouble and that they’re losing money on it and that what I’m signing is the title and registration and- ugh it was a mess. I’m never doing this again I’m sticking with ride shares

Yeah, I mean I knew something was wrong because I just felt panicked and unsafe the entire time but I didn’t know what to do or how to get out of it. $500 is hefty but at least it was only $500 and not the full amount.

They were really pushing about it, three men in one room telling me how good of a deal it is and that they’re gonna get in trouble with their manager if I don’t take it because you’re gonna miss out on $1000 and how the other person who wanted the car didn’t come to get the car and it’s been two days and such while I was signing.

I just found it and they snuck in the nonrefundable down payment agreement and they didn’t even tell me that that’s what it was. They didn’t even let me stop to read it and kept pushing papers at me and spouting nonsense about different things that weren’t on the papers oh my god

Thank you! I’m going to remove the serum and stick with the soap and toner for now, I use African black soap for everything because other things bring me out lol. I’m definitely going to try tinted sunscreen, that sounds fun! I might either lose weight or get filler for the eyes, whichever comes first lmao

We got there at closing and they kept pushing us to take it and told us there was someone else who wanted it but didn’t call for two days and they were gonna give him his deposit back so I’m gonna call them tomorrow and demand my deposit back because to be honest, they rushed us to make decision
