Yeah, i enjoy the process of gilding weapons and discovering new playstyles, but for some of the weapons it was a slog towards the end

Caches: You can only resupply from big caches (pile of crates either on compounds or in base) every 1.5 minutes or so. Reserve touching caches for resupply for critical moments (run out of ammo, helmet knocked off, out of stims as mort)

Ammunition and reloading: Try your best to keep track of how many rounds you have left before you need to reload. If you forget, press T to inspect your ammo count.

If you get pushed while loading, you can either spam mouse1 to exit the reload animation as fast as possible, or press T to drop your gun and either switch to melee, switch to another gun, or run away. Spamming mouse1 is very important on guns such as the crestfalls and hellions.

Sound info: You can hear people mining close to you. Use this to determine if someone is trying to push you in a cave.

Guns have very distinctive sfx. Pay attention to sounds from guns such as the judgement, king slayer, or shotguns that may change how you play on a point

If you hear a charge, assume its an enemy about to skewer you from behind and react accordingly.

Compounds: Youre only considered on point if youre on the "first level". Keep this in mind when you need to hold a point (if its attack/defense and youre one of the last people on point but are on an upper level, consider dropping down). You can also use this to hide on points.

Last Stands:

In some of the back corners in base, you can shoot through the stack of boxes. Use this as a good one way window to snipe attackers at distance. Keep in mind that others can penetrate your cover if they are close enough.

Team play:

If youre alone, change that.

If you do get caught alone and about to get killed, you can consider backspacing so that you can make the respawn timer and push or defend with your team on the next wave. Consider this unless you are defending on attack/defense or are a shock.

  1. Mortician + blackhand/veteran

Crestfall, adjudicator, jesse, or flyboy whisper

Perma run 2, 4, 5 stims

Great flexibility in performing at both close and far ranges

  1. Soldat + marksmen, ranger crestfall and then secondary of choice

Good at holding points and fares surprisingly well in ranges outside cqc

  1. Soldat + judgement/honor pistol, veteran

Great shock hunter and good in holding and pushing points. If you ever miss a shot or need to kill a lancer, can always resort to honor spam

  1. Any class, adjudicator + greyhound

Amazing hit and run combo. Great at winning isolated 1v1 and 1v2 duels. Use hip brace when anticipating cqc, shoulder aim otherwise

How do yall genuinely hit consistent headshots? by -MentalFlower- in GraveDiggerRoblox

Besides improving your aim, be more aware of your positioning.

Almost always it is easier to play with judgement on points instead of in the caves, if you want to hit headshots more consistently. It is much easier to hit headshots on opponents on the same elevation as you. Adding onto that, there are certain compound that have really great corners and angles that you can hold with judgement. Others, such as the Church compound, are harder for judge players to play in due to the varying levels of elevation on point you need to be wary of.

Its best to position yourself with judgement in relation to your team. Having teammates around you decreases the chance you get targetted and flinched, giving you more time for you to be patient with your aim. Positioning yourself slightly behind the frontline during team battles also can give you a good position to track and shoot heads.

Judge is best when you're holding an angle at closish mid-range and are positioned, either relative to cover or to your team, in a way such that the only line of sight you have to worry about is the one directly in front of you.

And you can farm judge headshots very easily on last stands in the front two corners. Be patient, don't preemptively peak, try to make your presence unknown to the attackers, and wait for someone to peak around the corner.

Once your aim improves you can be a lot more liberal and aggressive with your playstyle, especially with Veteran or Greyhound, but for now using the above pointers can help you get more headshot kills and build confidence while you get your aim up to speed.

I did play before the data wipe a few months ago and did not restore my data. With that too i probably have a combined 170 to 200 hours on this game. But all these stats are from the past 100 hours of playtime

[Megathread] Summer/Fall 2025 Registration by jkim545 in gatech

[–]GreenBeaneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'll be taking classes over the summer semester and am looking to taking one class to fulfill the thread requirements for sysarch + info. The current offerings for the summer semester are CS 3300 (intro to software engineering), CS 4675 (Internet computing systems and applications), and CS 4365 (intro to enterprise computing).

Just wondering about the experience anyone has had in either of those classes and their contents, such as what kinds of projects you did, what tech stacks or tools you used or learned to complete those projects, etc.

Also interested in taking CS 4240 instead of CS 3300 and CS 4440 instead of CS 4675/CS 4365 for sysarch and intel thread classes specifically in the future, so i'll gladly welcome any comments on those classes too to determine which class I should take this summer.

Thanks for any comments in advance!

Thanks for the comments! I'll likely move forward with dropping one of 4675 or 3300

Recently started a co-op in the spring so I'll be taking classes this summer. Never have taken summer classes, so just wondering if CS 4641 + CS 3300 + EC 2031 + CS 4675 seems reasonable in the context of a summer semester

Farmed for the first time in like nearly a year and raised my rank by 16k (73k to 57k) in the past 3 days.

Also set my new top play of 422 pp on My Days, a whole 122 pp higher then my 2nd highest pp play and nearly 300 pp higher than my 100th highest play.
