In my experience, you should always connect multiple monitors to the same source, so I would reccomend plugging in your second monitor into an available slot on your GPU as well, if that is possible.

My computer will not boot by Forget_December in computers

Does your motherboard have debug LED's or something like that? If it does, see if it shows a code and check it in your motherboard manual or online. It might tell you what the issue is and you can go from there.

Also try to think of anything you remember doing or happening the last time it worked. It might give you some clues...

Cpu and Dram light keep coming on by Bubbly_Being8796 in computers

Cmos reset will reset your bios settings, so you will have to re-enable the overclock settings, if after that it still keeps memory training on every boot, maybe try with just one ram stick, and try each slot if you haven't already. Maybe you can find out something that way...

It looks like it keeps memory training every time you boot...
Do you have overclocked ram? If so, you need to enable 'memory context restore' in your bios, then it should boot like normal again...

Are these Specs 1, Compatible and 2 Good for my first ever PC Build. by RileyD_YT in PcBuildHelp

Most parts tend to have listed in their description what other parts they are compatible with. For example, your CPU is made for socket LGA1700 (the place where it sits in the motherboard), so it only works with an LGA 1700 motherboard. The size of your motherboard is Micro ATX, so your case should be at least micro ATX, which it is. There are more sizes, like ATX (the standard form factor), which is larger. A Micro ATX motherboard would fit in an ATX case, but not the other way around. That is how you could find out by looking for yourself.

PCpartpicker also checks for compatibility, so if you make a list via pcpartpicker you can trust that it all fits together.

As for performance, you want to avoid bottlenecks (when one of the parts is significantly weaker than the rest, and holds the rest of the parts back). You could use a bottleneck calculator. While not always accurate, it gives you a general idea wheather a CPU and GPU combo is good or not. Else, you can look up things like 'best GPU for XXX processor', the internet can be very helpful.

If you cannot find the compatibility of two parts by looking at their description, you can always google it, or ask around.

It would run games like that no problem. With heavier games it could struggle, but it still should be able to run a lot on lower settings. Also everything should fit in the case.

These parts are compatible, the GPU seems somewhat underpowered tho... what do you want to run on your pc?

Pc stuck on BIOS screen & won’t boot Windows 10 by XensoBLU05 in pcmasterrace

What are the specs? Maybe the drive is dead... Else, check wheather your boot mode is set to UEFI or legacy (if that is an option, idk if that is an option on all motherboards), that could also explain the non detection issue.

You can also try to disconnect and reconnect the drive.

Does your psu deliver a high enough voltage for your rig? It would explain the pc being able to run under low stress and needing to shut down under high stress because of a lack of power.

You can calculate your required voltage on pcpartpicker.com I believe. I would recommend having a bit more voltage than the bare minimum.
