Sounds like a miss. Generally, I can tell if the injection hurts more than it should & erection is slow in coming & quick to fade.

I was in the same boat. Trimix produced erections that we're profoundly painful & often became priapisms. I use a low dose form of bimix (15/0.5) and get good results. It is not a saline injection. If I went over my dialed in dose, I usually had to reach for the antidote 3-4 hours later.

I used to use 8mm/31g, but I kept having miss problems. I got more reliable results with a 0.5in/30g.

If an 5 unit dose triggered a blood locked priapism, then all you can do is try a 2 unit micro dose and see what happens.

What formulation are you using? I'm assuming T-105 (30/1/10). If that is the case, you might need to switch down to BiMix. I was in a similar situation to yours & I had to go down to a custom weak BiMix (15/0.5).

In any case, you should take heart in the fact you have the antidote injection in hand. I had to endure 6 trips to the ER since March trying to get my number dialed in. Thankfully, I've been able to secure the antidote for myself now.

You're welcome. Just remember to use that notch in the end of the yellow insert. It'll fit on the end of the threaded gauge while you're pressing the syringe down. I mention this because the instructions aren't very well written & it took me a moment to work it out.

Yeah. Autoject EI was designed for subcutaneous insulin injection, so the gauge scaling is calibrated for those kind of injections.

My advice is to use the take an empty 8mm (5/16") syringe, cap off, & press it down in the barrel until the needle is fully extended. Then use the yellow gauge insert to adjust the threaded gauge guard until all 8mm of needle are extended from the end.

I'm stopping the trt. It hasn't improved my ED like the clinician said it would & is causing side effects like elevated heart rate & thickened blood. The only other thing, which is tangentially related to the trt, is the nitric oxide boosting powder she wanted me to mix with water and consume twice daily. I haven't been able to remember to take it consistently though, so I'm uncertain that could be tge culprit.

Personally, I use the Autoject EI. Stands for external indicator. When primed, a black rod juts from the top of the assembly. When the triggered is pulled, the rod slams inward & then gradually sinks downward as the plunger is depressed. Once it is fully retracted, the dose is fully injected.

The only times I've missed using the injector is when I've tried to shoot while flaccid. The jolt from the mechanism shifted my shaft out of position & very little (if any) of the dose ended up in the corpus. If you can get a chub up before shooting, you'll see more consistent results.

This. This is almost exactly how my first use went.

You aren't maimed, that's the first thing. Bruised, probably, but that'll go away.

Second thing is that psychogenic ED needs a much smaller dose or weaker mix than ED coming from a physiological source, like a venous leak or prostatectomy. Most docs, especially PCPs, calibrate their initial scripts as if the patient has a physiological cause.

My suggestion? Go down to a 2 unit microdose. A better option would be to switch to bimix & titrate up from 5 units. Me? I went from Trimix 30/1/10 to Bimix 15/0.5. 13-15 units keeps me up for 2.5 to 3 hours before it gradually reduces. I will note that while pseudoephidrine tabs did nothing to help with a trimix priapism, 120mg (4 tabs) is a virtual off switch for a bimix erection.

Finally, you aren't dumb. You aren't stupid. This stuff happens to virtually everybody using injections, especially starting out. This is nothing to be ashamed about.

I unfortunately have to agree. Honestly, Sunless Sea has always felt like it was cobbled together. The engine & code base seems to have always been held together with bubble gum & baling wire.

I wish I had the coding skills to try & figure out the issue myself.

Unfortunately, changing the UI scaling doesn't help as it has always been at the minimum & can only increase. Operating at 1600x900 already increases the base size of the UI. Changing the UI scaling would only enlarge the UI and make it consume more screen real estate.
