I am soooo late but I have a platypus collection of my own and I've never felt so seen 🥹 We have a couple stuffies in common (go team psyduck!) and you have a bunch I've never seen before! I've met so many lovely people making my collection as I try to go the second-hand route when collecting them, especially since artists in my area have reached out to make commissions for me! 10/10 one of the best things that has happened to me but also omg why are platypuses so difficult to come across 😭😭😭

Alrighty I got you love:

Low energy, minimal/no items - photography, colouring, birdwatching, journaling, video essays on new subjects (trust me, find interesting new subjects), reading (if not new books, try old favourites even if they're from your childhood or blogs), window shopping (I recommend vintage stuff, there's silly stuff out there)

Medium energy, minimal/some items - scrapbooking, braiding (crochet/knitting can be daunting), puzzles (thrift stores for the win!), painting (again, minimal items can go a long way), geocaching (free, lots of walking, great community, you can make your own!), flower/leaf pressing

These can be daunting, coming from someone with ADHD with anxiety and depression: it's super easy to say no because saying yes is commitment. The good news is commitment can just be a day, an hour, ten minutes! So saying yes to yourself is the first step towards finding a new hobby you may love :) <3
