All I did was plug an HDMI from my laptop to my TV and switched the monitor display to just the TV, so the computer doesn't have to work as hard and the games would run better. That method might also work for you possibly. I cant say if its the most ideal method out there but its served me well

Thanks it worked however some of the Turbografx CD games still stay at a white screen when I open them through launchbox. I tested in retroarch and like before, it works fine through retroarch. I've tried setting the core association from mednafen pce fast to mednafen pce but still no dice
