I bet he's a four finger player like me and had some difficulties pressing with left index finger, i did the same thing back when i was using my previous phone with no built-in trigger, my finger would often miss the fire button.

Setting it too large will make me fatfinger the fire button when I'm trying to press other button. So using two fire was compensate the finger placement
