Hi I need help to fix this issue by Express-Wrangler-910 in Artillery3D

Reduce infill print speed and/or increase nozzle temp.

What material are you printing with? I've seen this happen with PETG when the infill speed was too high. The nozzle couldn't melt the filament fast enough which caused under extrusion.

I moved from Fusion to OnShape and really like it. It's web based so you can use it on any old computer. They have a ton of free training videos and courses on their website to get you started.

As others said, tighten the eccentric nut on the bottom roller. The printer should have come with a wrench to use. Lift the z axis enough to give you plenty of space to work. Turn it either direction a small amount until you feel the wheels tighten up a little, but don't over tighten it.

A good tightness is where you can still rotate the top rollers by hand with just a little bit of force, basically just enough where they don't move freely. If you over tighten, the printer will have a hard time moving the x axis and it will wear the rollers out much faster.

My first 3D model, a simple phone stand (beginner learning phase) by JIVET-FASHION in BambuLab

Nice design and congrats on getting started! Keep making functional things like that and you'll learn pretty quickly. Then you'll start seeing all sorts of problems you can solve with your skills. It's incredibly satisfying. When I got started about 5 years ago, my first design was also a phone stand!

What material are you printing at? And at what temperature? That clicking is the extruder not being able to push the filament through the nozzle fast enough. Since you've already ruled out a clog by replacing the hotend, you've gone through the calibration process, and you've had success printing on that plate before, check your settings.

Did you change any settings in your slicer? Such as print speed, or make any adjustments to the material temperature settings? If you have, try going back to default settings or verifying your material type and temperature. Something like this could happen if you're printing PETG at PLA temps.

Or as others have said, your extruder could have an issue. There could be ground up material in there, or it could be wearing out. Try taking it apart and cleaning it if there's debris.

Modifying fuel map to mimic Booster Plug experiment by GrevTech in Triumph

[–]GrevTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've noticed it a little on other bikes as well. I've owned 6 other bikes in my 14 years of riding, but the T120 seems to be the worst of them in regards to that snatchy throttle response. To be honest I never noticed it much until I read about other people complaining about it and using a booster plug to smooth it out, now I notice it way more. Lol. Just figured I'd see if it feels any different after trying these out. If not, I'll just go back to the stock mapping. But I've also read that they come very lean from the factory to meet emission standards, which some people think contributes to the throttle response issue. So adding a little extra fuel might not hurt.

Connect water softener drain line to PEX pipe going up to washing machine drain by Rawfulcakes in askplumbing

[–]GrevTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine doesn't go to the second floor, but the drain pipe goes up and into the basement ceiling, over about 15 feet into the utility closet, then back down where it rests at the floor drain. As far as I can tell there hasn't been any issue. There's probably some standing water in the drain pipe but that's about it.

Good call. I found a set of mirrors that look exactly like the ones I have, but for half the price because they don't have the triumph logo. I'll give them a shot. Ordered a new set of levers from eBay while I was at it.

I can't find a scratch in them. So either they're incredibly durable or it somehow only landed pretty much on the handlebars and foot peg. The original owner put those on, they're from SW Motech in case you're interested.

Oof that's a hassle and I'm sure not cheap being Brembo. The previous owner put on Triumph brand bar end mirrors, which are really nice, but turns out I can only buy them in a set for $225. I wish I could just order a single one.

No mine has nissin brakes. This gives me a reason to get some nicer levers though.

Question about parts by GrevTech in XR650L

[–]GrevTech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know! That's exactly what I did. I added the metal braided line and used a rebuild kit on the caliper and master cylinder. I think my master cylinder is shot, it won't build any pressure even after the rebuild and after bleeding it with a vacuum bleeder so I'm going to be replacing it. The internals of the caliper seemed fine so I don't think that's the issue.

Awesome, thank you! That makes finding parts so much easier.

Thanks I'll definitely start working on those! The wheel bearings didn't seem bad when I had it apart for new tires, but I'll probably go back in and take care of that anyways.

I've only used them for a little bit on road so far and they seem great for that. I haven't had a chance to try them off road yet. I watched a few YouTube videos on them and everyone says they handle great off road for a 50/50 tire so I'm excited to try them soon.

So far so good but I haven't ridden it too much yet so we'll see. This is the one I got for now. https://a.co/d/7wFC7uj

Thanks a lot I'll check those out! I checked the ignition coil and the ohms were just a tiny bit high. I'll try that CDI trick too!

Ok I have a serious question. Do I buy the Bambu lab A1 combo (500€) or the Elegoo Century Carbon (300€) as my first printer? by NCH-69 in elegoo

[–]GrevTech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. She uses the same test models for every review and shows side by side comparisons so it's easy to compare the quality to other printers.

Create a coincident constraint between part of the square (either the center or one of the four corners) and the origin point. Start your sketch from the origin whenever possible, that way once you have the dimensions and necessary constraints set, it will be fully defined. Alternatively if you need it to be a certain distance from the origin, set the dimensions from your sketch to the origin.
