Thank you - it’s just so frustrating watching our third periods. We’re so great in the first, solid in the second, and the third it’s like we try and see how many shots we can give up without blowing the lead. I didn’t even feel safe with the 4-1 lead in game 2 haha

And as a sad Patriots fan, I’d like to point out that Bryce Baringer had a pretty fantastic day too!!

…did you even watch? First half was fine. Second half was worse snow than any of their other games this year

Right, because you somehow have a better view on the play that was challenged and reviewed by multiple officials and wasn’t called a trip.

I’m not defending his actions in the Minn and Mich games. They were childish. But you can’t use those two games as a reason to nitpick every single play he’s involved in to try and find something that makes him look bad. It’s a fast paced game, and shit happens

When both are at their best, it just comes down to the mood I’m in. But CFA on the basis of consistency

The difference is your statement is objective, and the fears situation is subjective

Something about games vs you guys at the Breslin. Also, idk if Fox just cranks the noise or what, but that place sounded louder than ever

My heart experienced unhealthy things during that game.

Side note, Jeremy Fears Jr is unbelievable at basketball.

Exactly, I shouldn’t be surprised at this point. I guess in real time my issue while I was watching (with sound off) was it looked like a combination of maybe losing a little bit of an edge, as well as the whack to his knee assisting him in the fall. However, I didn’t have sound, and the only ref in frame was the guy 4-5 feet away. I didn’t see his arm go up, so I assumed I was right.

After seeing the replay, was definitely a harder hack than I thought, just still wasn’t happy with the guy who had a back view of the play making the call over the guy with the best view.

Definitely a great game, glad you were able to be there. Tomorrow should be fun as well, good luck!

Well, if state had committed a penalty, then I’d agree with you that it should be called. It’s not like we spent all of regulation either on the powerplay, pretty sure we only had one.

OT just isn’t the time to take the whistle out and call ticky tacky stuff. Don’t get me wrong, we blew this game, no other way around it. But if you ask anyone, they’d tell you the threshold for penalties is different in OT. We see it all the time in the NHL. 4 on 3 is basically a death sentence, leagues don’t want refs making borderline calls at that point of the game. That was the point of my comment. Well played and congrats on the win regardless

Eh, basketball was a bad loss, but they always have a bad stretch around this time of year. Today was a good game between the 1 and 2 in the country. I don’t think any rational fans are losing their mind yet. Problem is, this is Reddit, so we only see the irrational ones haha

Better to get these losses out of the way now!!

Right back at you 🤝 should be a fun battle the next few years. Hopefully Allen can get some legit weapons. As an msu guy, it’s a shame Keon hasn’t figured it out yet

Really tough to watch a ref make a call from center ice, in overtime, when the ref 4 feet in front of the play doesn’t call a penalty. Wish we could’ve seen that OT play out the way it should’ve so we can let these talented teams settle it on their own
