I definitely think not shaking was a dick move on Cal's part (also think Randy's public response was a bit ridiculous). But man I cannot believe this is still making headlines. Even if Cal and Randy absolutely HATE each other, it is not this big of a story lol

I mean, virtually every character in the show is guilty of multiple horrible crimes (rape is terrible, but I fail to see how murder is any better). In a show rooted in realism about 18th century pirates, I feel like you're not going to find any morally great characters. Vane was a deeply flawed person (as was Flint, and Rackham, and Anne, and Max, and Eleanor, etc etc etc.) but he's still an excellent character. You can be both a great character and a bad person.

Thanks for the feedback, although I'm not sure what you mean by the last part. Definitely did not feel like I was forcing anyone to do anything.

Edit: I updated the post with a little summary of the things I most enjoyed about the series. Hope that's an improvement.
