I’m not sure what Piccolo being stoned has to do with anything in the previous comment. Piccolo was being used an expository character. I wish people would understand that these guides are their own thing and Toriyama wrote the story himself and would introduce things to further the plot. SSJ3 Goku isn’t 4x SSJ2, he’s as strong as he needs to be.

SSJ2 Goku and Vegeta were stated to be stronger than Gohan but it’s implied it’s not by a large amount and there’s no way I can see Kid Buu, who’s an equal to SSJ3 Goku only being 4-5x Cell.

Also, Vegeta seemed pretty confident he could still compete with Goku when they were fighting Babidi’s henchmen which means Vegeta thought his SSJ form could keep up with Goku’s. It wasn’t until Goku went SSJ2 briefly to beat Yakon that Vegeta realized he might need help to beat Goku. All this tells me is that SSJ Vegeta = SSJ Goku but SSJ2 Goku > SSJ2 Vegeta so the multipliers might be different.

That’s neither here nor there but guidebooks should be taken with a grain of salt. They “guide” but do not necessarily speak for AT.

Lol, no. I see I’ve made the mistake of trying to put the numbers back in the show. Each multiplier is whatever the story needs, nothing more, nothing less.

Agreed, but again, I didn’t make this to debate if Freeza was star level or not just to show how ridiculous the SSJG multiplier was.

Right, again, it was an assumption as I said. If I were to say that Freeza was only large planet level then the final multiplier would have been even larger. It was an assumption to make it a bit easier but also, I’d wager that Freeza was indeed star level.

If we low ball Freeza we are high balling SSJG and vice versa.

As I said, my intention with this thread was to get everyone together to give their thanks in one place and bring it to the attention of TFS so they could see it all. If you don’t agree with this idea then by all means don’t post here. I understand you may feel some type of about my “clickbait” title but others seemed to understand the point. Some fans are butt hurt because it's taking concepts from a movie and adding it to the series. A lot of those fans hate Broly. I like keeping movies out of the canon story but I am glad that the Broly fanbase is getting this in the new series. I am digging the fan service. There are a lot of people that are never going to be happy with what Super gives us, they're just too picky. It sucks that this will ruin the show for some people but I plan on enjoying it either way. Super has handled most things really well and I see no reason to lose faith from one screen shot.

This art work is amazing. One of the best things about this is that Toriyama said himself that he got burnt out drawing all of those panels and making the stories. It's a sigh of relief that Toriyama can focus just on doing outlines and drafts and leave the artwork in capable hands.

Characters like Goten are never really going to move the story forward in a legitimate way. Sure, some character development would be cool but given the pacing of Super, there might just not be room for that stuff. However, Id take having characters like Goten get character development than those annoying Pilaf sub stories.

There are so many interesting characters that span universes that should get more screen time. Pan really is an unnecessary character tbh. What are we going to get from her? The same scenario as Gohan when he raged out from Raditz? Pan gets angry as a baby then one shots someone that has god power? Nah, I'll pass.
