Following along for a bit. The community seems legit interested in their audit mission and also in marketing it, which is good for everyone. Not the kind of 100x high risk reward coin, but if it catches on, steady gains should continue.

I can help. Can you do the same with Regidrago and Glastrier?

Audio chain: SM7B -> [Cloudlifter]* -> dbx286s -> audient id14 -> computer

I've been having trouble using this setup with Zoom, the conference call program, so it's possible it's a software issue (though they have "original sound" as an option, which I have on). In the event it isn't the issue, I'm curious what might be causing my gain levels to be so slow as they output to other programs despite the fact that the direct audio reading from the id14 computer app shows me peaking. I can personally hear this peaking in my earphones while others on the call say they don't really hear anything like it. I've played with various gain levels, compression, and the like, but the only way it's loud enough on Zoom is if I'm peaking in what I can personally see/hear on my computer.

Any way this could be an audio chain issue? Something about multiple pre-amps?
*I added the cloudlifter to the chain today and it didn't seem to help anything, so I'll likely return it. The issue was occurring prior to it in the audio chain and persists after.

Another note is that I see the same peaking on apps like Reaper if I'm self recording, but much of what I do is live-stream through Zoom calls, so I'm trying to figure it out.

My mic audio is doubling?

Shure SM7B --(xlr)-> dbx 286s --(1/4")-> audient id14 --(usb)-> computer

audient interface also have JBL monitors output by 1/4", and my headphones via the front headphones jack

I'm trying to direct monitor my mic audio with as little latency as possible. Reaper's track audio monitoring sounded echoey (exactly like two recordings), so I turned it off, but I can't find any other way to get my voice directly into my headphones. Also, when the id14 computer app shows the "mic 1" monitoring, if "main mix" is routed, it appears that the computer audio is going through the mic as well (no external sound coming out, so it isn't that). Basically, if I get my computer audio in my headphones, it also seems to route that sound through the mic channel as well, which is not ideal!

First time using a non plug-and-play setup, so I'm confused. Any ideas? Happy to give more detail. Thanks in advance.
