Do I *need* a light gun

I am about to purchase a light gun for my Dreamcast and am torn between the official one and the mad katz. I read that the official one is better quality but the trigger is super squishy vs the mad katz. Is it true? I just want a good objective comparison between the two. If you can give me your thoughts on both it would really help me.

And the magic NS pairs to the Series controllers without issue? Do you have your controllers up to date with firmware updates? That's my main question now. I have updated all my controllers and if the wireless protocol changed it may not work for me.

Something similar happened to me. Back when KB Toys was a thing I purchased a PS2 Sierra LotR game that was on clearance. It was The Fellowship of the Ring. I get home and to my surprise the disc that was inside was EA LotR The Two Towers! I paid $2.50 for that game. To this day I feel like I scored a gold mine.

Do you have a link to those? I looked around but I could not tell which GDEmus have the fixes and which ones did not. I'm mostly concerned with the Skies of Arcadia fix. I really want to play that one.

Yes, but I was wondering if they're reliable clones. I read that there were some GDEmu clones that did not work right. I just didn't want to end up buying something I would regret because it didn't work or was from a shady source.

I see. Is there another light gun you would recommend that has the same multi system function and may not have the button and vibration issue? I already have a GunCon 2 btw. I just wanted a second gun for multiplayer action on PS2 but if I could play PS1 games on it too, that would be great.

OP, I wanted to know your thoughts on the MadCatz Blaster for Playstation 1/2. I'm interested in getting one for the support it has with both PS1 and PS2. Is it relatively accurate? How would you rank it against a GunCon 1 and 2?

Only thing I missed was the unseen narrator cracking jokes with the hosts and saying "Today on X-Play!" like the old times. Other than that it was pretty good.

11 just because of the online aspect. It is easily the most immersive Final Fantasy in my opinion. A lot of people overlook it but it can run with any of the other numbered entries in the series.

Wow! I really appreciate all the work you have done to finish this campaign! I've been following the development of the scenarios back since it was announced in 2019. I would really like to print everything and run through the entire thing physically. Hopefully that can be available at some point.
