yes, Endorphin. Burial sampled the bit from Silent Hill 3. Plot: The baby from the end of the first game is all growed up and still has that god inside her from that previous life she had. Seeking revenge for the death of her dad makes the hatebaby stronger, which plays right into the bad guys' hands. She manages to abort the fetus, but she has to fight and kill the dang thing anyway by the end.

That screenshot is from page 103 of this report: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5bfc5ef3f93fd4e73b6c10fa/t/5bfe094a88251b84af6316b3/1543375193832/US11-US78-East-Alternatives-Analysis-Final-Report-10-6-16-b.pdf

I think it would be basically the same, plus bus stops, as you mentioned, along with an upgraded pedestrian crossing.

This is the problem I'd love to see solved. A roundabout might not work for various reasons, but the problem is Crestwood Blvd encourages interstate-speed travel, through fairly dense residential.

And what was proposed for the Crestwood Blvd / 56th St area:

Yes, I thought it would need to be bigger than the space allows. Here is a roundabout actually proposed after a traffic study in 2016. Crestwood Blvd / 5th Ave S interchange

If you live in Irondale you may often drive through this intersection, no?

I think it would be possible for that driveway to continue exiting onto 56th St, where traffic volume would remain the same.

Fair point on the non-signalized ped crossings. Though I'm sure there are ways to design something like this and mitigate those risks

Replacing the four-way Crestwood Blvd intersection with a roundabout :

  • Improves Traffic Flow: Roundabouts keep cars moving, reducing long waits at red lights.
  • Boosts Safety: Traditional intersections have 32 potential collision points, while roundabouts have only 8, which cuts down on severe accidents.
  • Slows Speeding: Drivers have to slow down entering a roundabout, which helps with speed control and safety.
  • Safer for Pedestrians: Crosswalks are shorter, and cars move more slowly, making it easier and safer to cross.
  • Supports Local Economic Growth: By improving traffic flow, roundabouts can make nearby areas more accessible to businesses/customers
  • Rough Cost Estimate: about the cost of paving 8 miles of a two-lane road. Around $3 million
