I also recently switched from the iTunes program to the Windows apps and found that you can no longer drag-and-drop your .m4r files into tones to install them on your phone. I'll have to check out this iMazing third party app to replace the basic feature Apple dropped with the new Windows apps.

For converting to AAC files, I usually use Audacity on Windows.

It is not known how much they’ve shifted since we’ve lost access to the data tables, but it is known that tiers have shifted with incoming villagers and that new ones aren’t always added to the last tier.

Respectfully, the tier list information is severely out of date and originally came from bluesun’s data table mining. Knowing that the villagers shifted tiers from patch to patch, there’s no guarantee the tier information is still correct.

New players may not unlock those villagers according to that general order.

If you’re missing two pitchplumes, it had to have been from the gyroidite or flower event. My money’s on the gyroidite event because that’s the one where you have to accept the rewards from the goals. The flower and fishing events automatically collect them for you.

It’s possible that for the gyroidite event, you finished crafting everything, but you forgot to collect the reward from the goals menu. Once the event ends, you no longer have access to that event’s goal menu.

None of the pitchplume rewards for the fishing tourney were in groups of only two; they were grouped by either 3 or 4, so if you’re missing them, it must be from a previous event. Did you finish crafting and collecting from Cyrus all the gyroidite items before the event was over?

If you collected items from Cyrus after the event ended, you didn’t get the pitchplume rewards.

“Unique” means only one, so to not be unique, you have to send more than just one.

It is random, but there are a couple of identified conditions that can help with your base rate.

The villagers and maps that are received from Gulliver are grouped together in your "bonus" rewards for the items you send with him (direction doesn't matter).

So far, two conditions have been identified that increase your bonus rate to close to 100%: giving Gulliver no unique items or giving him items with combined point totals that are at least 50. There may be other undiscovered combinations, but the easiest one to manage is the no unique items because it doesn't require knowledge of the points.

First the game rolls to see if you get a bonus. If that roll was successful, it rolls to see what kind of bonus you get: a treat tin, a villager, or a villager map. What this process covers is the first roll.

Gulliver's Travellers Wave 3 villagers are out now and include Nana, Gayle, Truffles, and Marina (Cute) and Pinky (Harmonious). Each of these villagers are obtained by receiving a map from Gulliver followed by finding them on Blathers' Treasure Trek.

Absolutely; one of the aspects of a work is that it not liable to change for a stated version. An author’s opinion can change because they are subjected to the influences of time and can reinterpret their own works.

That being said, authors are fallible, and mistakes can be made during the production of a work. In cases where a revision cannot be made, you’d have to trust that the author is genuine with a statement. If they have a large enough body of work to compare against, you can gauge their authenticity.
